During the summer term, Penguins, Turtles, Dolphins and Octopus
classes were invited to go to Fareham Model Engineers. This is a light
railway with several tracks that stretch over a small field and take you
round a pond, under trees and through a tunnel. The children were able to
go on the trains as often as they wanted and also had a picnic lunch in
between rides. It was a fantastic day and everyone, adults and pupils,
seemed to relish the experience. We hope to repeat the visit again next
year.
