Students and their families from Year 11 upwards came along to celebrate their successes and to mark the next phase in their lives. Six students were saying good bye and another 15 were celebrating the completion of their Year 11 courses before moving into the 6th form next September.
The evening started with a champagne reception followed by a sit down meal and a disco. Ken Bowen, who was also retiring from Portsmouth LEA, was really delighted to present the Achievement Folders to each student. We all enjoyed watching them and seeing them look so proud as they came up to receive their awards.
The students themselves helped to prepare for the celebration, designing the invitations and menus, setting up the tables and arranging the flowers and balloons.
We wish all our students every success in the future – they are stars!PS - There are more photos in our Photo Album section...
