We had a great week discovering Africa.
We looked on the Internet to find different Art work that we liked. We then had great fun making our own pictures, making and playing musical shakers, decorated masks, printed our own fabrics, and made paper mache plates and pots which we decorated. We enjoyed an “African Experience” in the Music Room using the Opti Beam to hear animal sounds and Ethnic percussion. We danced to different music, moved through a “Jungle Walk” as animals and chanted our African names whist we were drumming.
