Some of the 6th form students this term are again taking part in the “Faith in Football” Enterprise challenge.
The scheme involves starting and running a “Business” to raise money which is used by the Faith in Football charity to fund their projects in this country and abroad.
During the first week of this term the group needed to raise money to start their business. We sold raffle tickets and ploughmans lunches to staff and parents, this event raised £150 to begin our project.
Students have now opened the “Pompey Kitchen” which is offering a lunch (homemade soup or bacon baguettes) to staff and a “Healthy Tuckshop” (flapjack, fruit or yoghurt) to students, every Monday during this term.
