Thirteen of our pupils took a trip to Fleming Park in Eastleigh for a day of sports events. We arrived in good time and found our place in the hall. The pupils were given bibs to identify they were from our school and then the day got underway.
There were seven activities in the morning which included throwing, bouncing, jumping and motoring through a shuttle course. Ben did exceptionally well at this activity, independently pushing himself through.
On the javelin event Keely stood at the end of the tape as a target for pupils to aim for, ensuring that every pupil improved their throw.
After lunch came the running races. There was an outstanding effort by all, especially Cade who wanted to run in every race!
We then had to make a quick dash to the minibus to make it back in to school. Everyone was rather tired and there was a few very sleepy pupils on the buses.
All pupils took part in every activity and enjoyed the day immensely. Pupil behaviour was outstanding and they were a credit to the school.
