The primary and secondary students were off timetable all day and were given the opportunity to try out lots of different break time activities. The children moved around the school in their class groups and tried out a maximum of 6 twenty minute activities. The different actvities included races, penalty shoot out, sensory art, music games, sensory stories, a sensory trail and circle games. The day helped the staff to create a greater range of fun activities to use during break time and lunch times. It was also lots of fun for the students who enjoyed trying out such a wide range of ideas. The whole day was a huge success and will hopefully lead to even more creative break times for our students.
