A group of students in the 6TH form have been very busy this term running a business enterprise to raise money for the Faith and Football charity.
They have appointed students to different roles in the business and they have carried out their duties including, Managing Director, Finance Officer and Marketing Manager.
Students have been involved each Monday with the planning, shopping and preparation of healthy snacks for students at break time and staff lunches.
Through the business they have developed Literacy and Numeracy skills throughout the term and have all achieved an OCR World of Work module.
The group finished their project by organising a “Grand Raffle” and were thrilled to donate a cheque for £484.81 to Faith and Football.
They are eagerly awaiting the presentation evening next term when the area winner will be announced.
