The happy band of quilters, have spent two days joining all the squares that pupils, staff and friends have contributed to the wall hanging. The final piece will measure about 10 feet by 8 feet and is truly magnificent - as you can see in the photographs.
The memory wall hanging is a significant and unique representation of all that is special about the two schools. This will take pride of place in the new Mary Rose building, displayed for all to see. It will be accompanied by a special book that explains the thoughts and ideas behind each square.
Our quilters will be invited to the grand opening of the school and we thank them for their hard work and dedication.
