A group of students who are studying the KS4 Life Management course visited the Radio Solent Gardener Brian Kidd at his allotment in Waterlooville. This term’s course is focusing on fruits and vegetables and is called “Where does our food come from?”
We saw many fruits and vegetables growing and tasted strawberries, raspberries, grapes, tomatoes and runner beans – all home grown of course. We also saw hundreds of woodlice enjoying the warmth of the compost heap.
