Mandy Everitt

Hi, my name is Mandy Everitt. This is my second year of teaching at the Mary Rose School. I absolutely LOVE my job. I work three days a week and work all over the school, in many different classes and in many different teaching roles. I quite often teach RE. I am employed to provide cover for the teachers who do ‘outreach’ to other schools within the city. I am married with three children of my own who are aged 17, 12 and 7 – they keep me supplied with plenty of washing and taxiing them around. I have a very supportive husband called Andrew, who teaches Drama at Priory School. In my spare time I like to go to the cinema and watch action movies but am scared of anything like horror movies. My favourite movie at present is Batman, and second to that is Prince Caspian – I think New Zealand (where it is filmed) looks fabulous. On Sundays my family and I go to church (Family Church) where I am going to be setting up a kid’s church group for children with special needs, in January 2009.
