I joined Mary Rose in January as a class teacher but have taken up a new role as SSCO and PE teacher since the school became a sports college. This role involves working with primary schools in the local area to help improve their PE and competitive opportunities. I also teach PE within the school working mainly with young people with autism both in Primary and Secondary.
I had the pleasure of accompanying a group of students to the Isle of Wight on a residential sailing week last year. I was amazed at the courage and determination the pupils showed and they still continue to surprise me on a daily basis!!
I am really enjoying my new role and am looking forward to all the challenges that the new status will bring us.
