We offer four residential experiences for pupils in KS3 – KS5.
Residentials are open to all pupils but places are limited and we often have a waiting list.
Butlins
Residentials are open to all pupils but places are limited and we often have a waiting list.
For students in KS5 only. A five day trip to Butlins in Bognor Regis (Monday-Friday). Students stay in self catering adapted chalets on a half board basis. Daytime activities include swimming, bowling, arcade and fairground games, visits to Bognor Pier, Chichester, Littlehampton, Brighton and Worthing as well as to local attractions such as the Weald and Downland Museum, Tangmere Military Aviation Museum and the Sea Life Centre. Evening activities include Discos, watching WWF wrestling, talent shows and Karaoke!
Little Canada
For students in KS3 & 4 only. A five day trip to the PGL Centre on the Isle of Wight (Monday-Friday). Pupils stay in full board accommodation. Daytime activities include Abseiling, Climbing, Zip Wire, Quad Bikes, problem Solving, Swimming, Dragon Boating, Orienteering and Archery. Evening activities include a Disco, ICT, Campfire songs and team games.
UKSA
For students in KS3-5 only. A five day trip to the UK Sailing Academy on the Isle of Wight (Monday-Friday). Pupils stay in full board accommodation. Daytime activities include Dingy Sailing, Windsurfing, Power boating, Mast Climbing, Canoeing and water fights! Evening activities include Crabbing, Swimming and of course the annual UKSA v Mary Rose Boccia Challenge.
Calvert / Vitalise
This is a bi annual trip (every two years) which is open to all pupils in KS3-5. A seven day trip to either the Calvert Trust on Dartmoor or to Vitalise Churchtown in South Cornwall (Friday – Friday). Daytime activities include climbing, abseiling, archery, orienteering, canoeing, sailing, crabbing and visits to seaside towns. Evening activities include a quiz night, games evening and a disco.
