Alison Beane
Headteacher
I feel proud and privileged to be the headteacher of Mary Rose School. Since we opened in September 2006 we have achieved so much. One of the highlights was our designation as a Specialist Sports College in September 2008, having been open for such a short time. We were of course also extremely delighted with the results of our Ofsted inspection in November 2007 when were judged to be overall good with outstanding judgements in almost all areas.
Mary Rose School is a wonderful place to be and I am very proud of the achievements of our pupils and staff supported strongly by our families, carers and the wide range of partners with whom we have such good relationships. I feel that our school is going from strength to strength and that every day is exciting, challenging and fun! Our pupils tell us that they love coming to school – nearly as much as I do.
